The 3rd European Radar Conference (EuRAD) will be held from 13-15 September 2006 in Manchester, UK, as part of European Microwave Week.

EuRAD is dedicated to a broad range of radar related topics, ranging from multi-modal configurations and associate signal processing methods to radar system design and target and natural environment observation.

Over the years, dramatic advances have been made in the field of radar technology and its applications. Radar observation finds widespread applications in many military and civilian areas. The objective of the EuRAD conference is to provide an open forum for the presentation and discussion of current advances in radar technology, associate antenna and RF devices, target tracking and multi-source radar data processing, ground penetrating radars, environmental remote sensing systems and typical hazard prevention or monitoring applications, SAR related techniques including emerging applications in the domain of polarimetry, interferometry and differential interferometry.

Submission of Summaries

Summaries should be submitted by uploading a pdf-file (portable document format) to the EuMW2006 website: www.eumw2006.com. The Technical Programme Committee will review each summary. For topics common to two conferences as indicated in the topic lists, the decision about acceptance of the paper will be taken jointly by both Technical Programme Committees. However, each summary must be submitted to only one conference, selected by the author(s).

The summary should be in English, typed single space, and be either 2 or 3 pages long, including figures and diagrams. The summary must begin with the title, author’s name, affiliation and full address (including phone, fax and e-mail). It should include an abstract, a brief conclusion, and emphasise what is novel. Refer to the website for further details on evaluation criteria. One author information form per paper must be completed at the EuMW2006 website when uploading the summary.

Submissions by hard copy, fax or e-mail cannot be accepted. For further details on the electronic submission process please refer to the information given at www.eumw2006.com.

The deadline for submission of summaries is 10 February 2006. Late submissions cannot be considered.

Conference Highlights
