By Air Manchester’s world-class International Airport is the largest in the UK outside London and is only 10km away from G-Mex/MICC, with daily scheduled flights connecting Manchester to all other major British cities and most European capitals. Transatlantic flights link Manchester directly with several major North American cities and further a-field, there are regular non-stop flights to Asia.
By Rail Manchester is served by two mainline railway stations, both of which are located in the City Centre. Manchester Victoria and Manchester Piccadilly together provide direct rail connections to all major UK cities, for example, London is 3 hours away by train, Birmingham, 2 hours and Edinburgh and Glasgow, 4 hours. G-MEX/MICC is linked by the Metro system from it’s own station directly to both Piccadilly and Victoria.
By Road Ringed by the M60, Manchester is ideally close to the UK’s extensive motorway network giving easy access to all parts of the country. Car Parking Exhibitors/Delegates can obtain special Car Park tickets at a reduced rate of £6.00 per day including VAT for the build up, breakdown and open days of the event. Tickets must be purchased before the completion date using the Parking Voucher Application (PDF format) and paid for in advance by credit card or cheque made payable to NATIONAL CAR PARKS M/CR LTD. Tickets will be returned by post together with a full VAT receipt. |
